Quick answer
Identify the club, add its venue and tax details, review its visual identity and decide whether to connect Stripe. When you finish, Clybo’ saves the settings and opens the dashboard so you can continue with teams and enrolments.
The setup wizard gathers the information Clybo’ needs to create the club’s workspace. You can return to the previous step without losing anything you have saved.
Sign in with the account that will manage the club. If you do not have a club yet, the wizard opens after you sign in.
For guidance before you start, select Book a free call in the website footer or open the call page. If you would prefer a product demonstration by video call, select Request a demo. For questions about this guide, the support email at the end of the article opens your email app, even without JavaScript.
If your club already uses Clybo’, select Sign in on the website, then choose Club management → Enter management on the sign-in page using an account with permission to manage it. If you are a family member or staff, choose Families and guardians or Staff and use your invitation: do not create another club to sign in. The sign-in selector is available everywhere; the tax steps in this guide apply to Spain.
You can also install the management app on your device to open the dashboard from its icon. Club setup and operations still require an internet connection.
Before you start
Have these details ready:
- The club’s trading name, main sport, phone number and website.
- The venue address and time zone.
- The legal name, NIF/CIF and tax address.
- The organisation’s logo and colours, if already defined.
- Details of the person who will manage Stripe, if you plan to enable online payments.
If you are not going to accept online payments yet, you can finish setup during the trial period and connect Stripe later from the club settings.
Before entering the club’s details, open and review the Terms and conditions and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). When you agree, tick both boxes and select Accept and continue. Both acceptances are required to create the club.
Step by step
1. Identify the club
Under Club details, enter the name families know it by and select the main sport. Add the phone number, website and country.
Clybo’ will suggest a public address for the club. Choose an available option and check that it is easy to recognise and share.
2. Add the main venue
Enter the address, town or city, postcode, region and time zone. These details help display schedules, events and communications correctly.
Select Next · Tax information when all required fields are complete. The save indicator confirms that the draft has been kept in that browser.
3. Review tax information
Enter the tax country, legal name and tax identifier. For clubs in Spain, also select the autonomous community and province.
Enter the NIF/CIF and review the tax profile that describes the club. If you have questions about an exemption or applicable tax rate, confirm it with the club’s tax adviser before continuing: Clybo’ uses this profile when creating fees and documents. Select Next · Visual identity.
4. Customise the visual identity
Upload the logo and choose the club’s colours. The preview lets you check the contrast before saving.
This identity is reused on surfaces such as public forms and documents. You can also change it later under Settings → Visual identity.
Select Next · Payment method to continue.
5. Decide whether to enable payments now
Under Payment method, connect the club’s Stripe account if it will accept card payments. Identity verification takes place in Stripe; when you return, Clybo’ shows whether the account is pending or active.
You can review the Clybo’ plan on the same screen. The subscription and Stripe connection are independent: Stripe is required to collect online payments from families, but not to subscribe to Clybo’. If you would rather set up payments later, select Finish setup and complete this step when needed by following Set up online payments with Stripe.
6. Finish and open the dashboard
The Your club is ready! screen summarises the club, plan, public address and payment status. If you have not connected Stripe, the Payments section shows Stripe pending. From there, you can open the dashboard, add staff or create your first form.
The dashboard keeps a short setup checklist until you have invited the team and published a form.
If something goes wrong
- The public address is unavailable: choose another suggestion or adjust the name; two clubs cannot share it.
- The NIF/CIF is rejected: remove spaces and check the control letter. Spain accepts NIF and CIF numbers in a valid format.
- You cannot continue: find the first field marked and also complete the venue details, including the time zone.
- Stripe is still pending: the review may need additional information. Reopen verification from the same step or under Settings → Integrations.
- You closed the browser: sign in again with the same account and in the same browser. Local drafts are kept for up to 24 hours; signing out deletes them. Details sent when completing a step are saved to the club.
Next step
Continue with Invite club staff and then Import athletes from a CSV file.
