Quick answer
Install Club management from My profile or your browser and open it using its own icon. You need an internet connection. On iPhone or in the installed app, enter the email code in the app; downloads may open in a preview.
This guide explains how to optionally install Club management so you can open the dashboard from an icon on your phone, tablet or computer. It keeps your usual account, club and permissions, and is available in every country where the dashboard is offered.
Open the installation prompt when you need it from My profile → Install app or from your browser menu. The dashboard does not show automatic notices or pop-ups suggesting installation. You can continue working in a browser tab.
You need an internet connection to sign in, view data and save changes. Installing the app does not save a copy of the club for offline work or add push notifications. Files you explicitly download remain where you save them.
Photos, documents and music that you open to view are kept only for that viewing or playback session. Closing or changing the view releases that in-memory copy; to keep a file, use its download option.
Invoices, receipts and club files in PDF format are shown in a reader inside the app. You can change pages and zoom in or out. You need a connection to open them; viewing a PDF does not save a copy to your device. Download it to keep the file using your device’s options.
Dashboard updates normally let you continue in a window that is already open. If a section cannot load and a new version is available, the dashboard may reload that same page once automatically. This requires a connection and will not happen after it detects that you have edited a field in that window or while a Stripe payment is shown inside the dashboard. After editing a field, this protection remains until you close or reload the page, even if you have already saved.
Before you start
You need an account with access to the management dashboard, an up-to-date browser and an internet connection. Install the app on a device you use for club work. If you share the device, sign out when you finish.
The management app is different from the staff app and family access. Installing it does not grant permissions or create another club.
Step by step
1. Open Club management
On the Clybo’ website, select Sign in, then choose Club management → Go to management on the sign-in page. Install from the sign-in screen or dashboard; do not install from an email link or a Stripe return page.
If you are already signed in, open My profile and look for Install app. In a compatible browser, an installation prompt appears; on iPhone, you will see instructions for installing from Safari. This action disappears when you use the installed app. You can also follow the browser menus below.
2. Install on an iPhone or iPad
Open Club management in Safari. Select Share; depending on the browser layout, this may be inside the page menu. Select Add to Home Screen, leave Open as Web App enabled if it appears, then confirm with Add. Open the icon you created.
If you cannot see Add to Home Screen, check Edit Actions at the bottom of the Share list. Apple maintains Safari installation instructions.
3. Install on Android or a computer
In Chrome for Android, open the browser menu, select Add to Home screen → Install and confirm. The exact wording may vary by browser version. See Chrome help for Android.
On a computer, open the dashboard in Chrome and use the installation icon in the address bar if it appears, or select Install page as app from the menu. Other compatible browsers may offer their own installation option. In Safari for Mac, use Share → Add to Dock. See Chrome help for computers and Safari for Mac help.
4. Sign in from the installed app
Open the app from its icon. On iPhone, iPad and in the installed app, enter your account email and select Send access code. You will receive a six-digit code by email. Return to the same app or window where you requested it, enter the code in Access code and select Sign in with code. Your session is created in that app or window.
Use the most recent email. The code expires after 15 minutes and can only be used once. Send another code invalidates the previous one; Back to sign-in lets you change the email address. In a computer browser tab, the main action remains Send magic link, but you can also enter the code after requesting the email.
If this is your first sign-in and your email still needs confirming, the confirmation email also includes the code. Enter it on the same screen to confirm your email and sign in. If you prefer to continue in a browser, you can complete your registration from the link in the email.
The email also includes Sign in from browser. That link may open Safari, especially on iPhone. The Confirm your sign-in screen redeems the link when you select Sign in; access is granted in that window and is not automatically transferred to the installed app. Opening the confirmation screen does not use the code, but selecting Sign in does: the link and code are for one sign-in only. To sign in to the installed app, return to it and enter the code without confirming the link in Safari.
Password and Continue with Google are still available. Google may show a browser window during the process. If you return to the browser, you can continue there or go back to the app icon and request a code from inside it. If you need to set or recover your password, select Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen and follow the email instructions.
5. Check the club when returning from Stripe
Connecting Stripe or managing your subscription requires a connection. Follow the external process and wait for it to finish. The system may show Stripe in a browser window, especially on iPhone.
If the Connect Stripe return opens a window without a session, Clybo’ shows sign-in in that same window and keeps the pending process. Use the email for the same administrator account you started with: select Send access code, check your email and return to that window to select Sign in with code. You can also sign in with your password. Continue with Google is unavailable during this recovery, so you can complete sign-in without leaving the return window.
After sign-in, Clybo’ checks your permissions and continues connecting Stripe for the club where you started, even if your account remembers a different club. If you do not have administrator permissions in the original club, the connection will not continue. Wait for the result in that window before closing it or returning to the installed app.
Reloading checks the same attempt without repeating authorisation. If the result cannot be confirmed, check Settings → Integrations → Refresh status before starting another connection. If it is still unresolved, contact support. If you have started a later connection, an older return does not replace it.
When it finishes, check the club and status shown on screen. If the installed app does not show the result, open it from its icon and go to the same section. Under Settings → Integrations, select Refresh status to check the connected account. Do not repeat a payment or Stripe operation just because you closed the window or did not see the return.
Installing the app does not change where payments go: family payments are received in the club’s Stripe account, and the Clybo’ subscription is managed separately. See Set up online payments with Stripe and Manage the club subscription.
6. Save downloads on iPhone
Select the document or music download action and wait for the file to be prepared. Depending on the file type and iOS version, the system may show options to share or save it, open a preview or use Safari.
If the file opens in a preview, use its sharing or saving options. If Share appears, select Save to Files and choose a folder. Check that the file is in Files and that you can open it before considering the download complete. If the browser saves the download directly, check its Downloads folder.
Signing out of Clybo’ does not delete files you saved in Files or copies you shared yourself. For administrative exports, follow Generate and download exports.
If something does not work
- Install does not appear: check that you are using a browser, use Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, and update it. You can keep working in the dashboard from a browser tab.
- The app still asks me to sign in after I open the email: return to the app where you requested access and enter the code there. If you already confirmed the link in the browser, request another code from the installed app.
- The code is incorrect or has expired: check all six digits and use the latest email. If needed, select Send another code; the previous one will stop working.
- The link has expired or does not complete sign-in: return to the sign-in screen and request another link. If the Google return fails, try again in the same window where you started.
- There is no connection: restore the connection before viewing or saving. If an operation is pending, check its status before trying again.
- “Something went wrong” appears when I open a section: if it does not recover automatically, check the connection and save or preserve any changes you can still view before selecting Reload. If you were paying or had just saved, check the result before repeating the operation. If the error persists, contact support with the section and approximate time.
- The Stripe connection return asks me to sign in: use the code or your password in that same window, with the same administrator account you started with. Wait for the result and then return to the app from its icon. If you lack permission or the return has expired, check the status under Integrations before starting the connection again.
- I cannot find a file: check the location you chose under Files or Downloads. If it was not saved, select download again and complete the system action; cancelling the sharing dialogue does not save the file.
- A PDF does not appear in the reader: check your connection and select Retry. You can use Download to open it in your device’s viewer. If that also fails, close the preview and reopen it; if the issue persists, contact support with the document name.
- I see another club or a section is missing: check the active club and your account permissions. The installed app uses the same authorisations as the web dashboard.
Next step
If your club is just getting started, continue with Complete your club’s initial setup. If you already use the dashboard, you can invite staff and change the app language.
