Quick answer
When you clock in or out, the app tries to verify your location and shows its accuracy. If location is denied, unavailable or out of date, you can continue and the entry will be marked without location.
Work time recording is separate from athlete attendance. Each person records their own clock-in and clock-out; administrators can review issues and make corrections with a reason.
Before you start
Sign in with your personal account and select the correct club. Enable location if the club’s policy uses it and your device asks for permission. Do not clock in or out on behalf of someone else.
Step by step
1. Open the time clock
On Home, find the workday card. Its status shows whether you are currently working or off duty and determines whether the next action is clocking in or out. On a tablet, the time clock is at the bottom of the sidebar. See Use the staff app on a tablet.
2. Wait for a live location
When the confirmation opens, the app looks for a current position and shows whether it is verified, along with its approximate accuracy in metres. Wait a moment if it is loading or trying to refresh an old reading.
3. Confirm with or without location
Check the action shown and confirm it once. If location is denied, unavailable or out of date, you can still clock in or out; the record will be saved as without location. Wait for the success message before closing.
4. View your history
Under Profile, open My clock-ins to review weeks, total hours and each clock-in and clock-out pair. Open workdays and missing clock-outs are shown separately. Days and times follow the club’s clock, just like the panel register: a clock-in from an earlier day without a clock-out shows as no clock-out even if you have not clocked in again, and when administration corrects an entry you see the corrected version.
5. Request a correction
My clock-ins expands every shift that needs your attention: a clock-in from a previous day with no clock-out, or a shift longer than 12 hours (long shift). The Profile tab shows how many there are and My clock-ins shows the number of incidents.
- Tap Request a correction on the shift.
- Enter the real Clock-in and Clock-out times, in the club’s time. The sheet shows the resulting shift.
- Explain the Reason and tap Send request.
The proposal must stay on the same day, with the clock-out after the clock-in, no times that haven’t come yet, no more than 16 hours and no overlap with another shift that day. You can request it for shifts in the last six weeks, with one pending request per shift. If your manager has already reviewed a long shift, there is nothing to request.
While your manager reviews it, the shift shows Under review and you can tap Withdraw request. If it is approved you will see Corrected; if it is rejected you will see Rejected with the club’s reply and can tap Send another proposal. If the club fixes the shift another way, it shows Fixed by the club. With notifications on, you get a push notification with the outcome. The original clock-in is always kept in the record.
If the shift is older than six weeks, the row tells you to speak to your manager: the correction is made from the dashboard and keeps its reason.
Restore location permission
In the staff app, open Profile → Location, beside Notifications. The Location access card shows this device’s permission. It is available to people with access to the staff app, with no country restrictions.
- Permission pending: select Enable and accept the browser request.
- Permission blocked: select How to enable to see your device’s steps. The app cannot make that decision for you or unblock the permission itself.
- Permission granted: the browser can request location. This does not guarantee that GPS can get a position at that moment. Under Manage, you can see how to remove permission.
- If the browser cannot report the status, select Enable to check it. If it does not offer geolocation, you will see Location unavailable in this browser.
Android and Chrome
Open Chrome → Settings → Site settings → Location. Find the site shown on the card and allow its location access. You can also open that site in Chrome, select the site information beside the address and choose Permissions. Also check that Android allows location for Chrome or the installed app and that device location is on. See Chrome location settings.
iPhone and iPad
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, turn on Location Services and check permission for the app or Safari Websites, if shown. See Apple location services help.
If you use Safari, open the site shown on the card and go to Page menu → More → Website settings → Location → Allow. Names depend on the version. Apple explains website permissions in Safari. If you use the installed app, return to it to check its permission; changing it in a browser tab may not update the app as well.
Check again
Return to the app and select Check again in the instructions. The card also checks permission when you return to the foreground, if the browser allows it. To remove permission, use the same settings and select Don’t allow.
Opening Profile does not request your position. Enable and Check again take a one-off reading to check access; they do not save your coordinates or create a time record. If the reading fails, check device location and try again. Once permission is restored, return to Home and open the clock-in confirmation again. On a tablet, the time clock is at the bottom of the sidebar.
Clock-in and clock-out reminders
With your account active, enable notifications under Profile and allow alerts from your browser or device. On iPhone or iPad, use the installed app on your home screen.
Alerts are based on your schedule in your assigned teams — all their sessions or only your slots —, on the specific sessions you have been added to or where you cover for someone, and on the club’s time zone. If someone else covers for you in a session, you do not receive their reminder:
- 5 minutes before a session starts, you receive a reminder if you are not yet recorded as working.
- 5 minutes after the scheduled end, you receive an alert if your time record is still open.
- Every hour from that second alert, it reminds you to clock out while the record remains open, including after the date changes. Once a valid clock-out is recorded, further reminders stop.
For example, for a 17:00 to 19:00 shift, reminders arrive at 16:55, 19:05, 20:05, 21:05… while clocking out is pending. If you only cover 18:00 to 19:00 of a 17:00 to 19:00 session, the first reminder arrives at 17:55. Consecutive or overlapping training sessions form one shift; a gap means they are treated as separate shifts.
Tapping the alert opens Home for the relevant club. Check the status before confirming. A workday left open for several days is still available for clocking out; if you forgot to clock out earlier, request a correction with the real time from My clock-ins. Clocking out now records the current time. On a tablet, the time clock is at the bottom of the sidebar.
Timetable changes and cancellations are taken into account, as are days marked as not worked. Without assigned training sessions, there is no planned schedule from which to calculate these alerts. Reminders are push notifications: they do not send emails or clock you in automatically. Delivery may be delayed by your connection or device notification settings.
If something goes wrong
- Location is denied: continue without location, or go to Profile → Location → How to enable, restore permission and reopen the confirmation.
- Accuracy is low: wait for the reading to update or clock in knowing that administrators will see its accuracy.
- The button shows the wrong action: refresh Home and check the latest history entry.
- A clock-out is missing: do not create a new workday; tap Request a correction in My clock-ins.
- History is missing: check your active club and account permissions.
