Quick answer
From Calendar, create an event, link it to a season and teams, invite athletes and request confirmation. You can then remind people who have not responded, record results and share them.
Events represent competitions, matches or other activities that need their own details and, where applicable, an invitation. They appear in the calendar alongside training sessions, but retain their own details, participants and results.
Before you start
Have the date, location, meeting time and affected teams ready. If you will ask for confirmation, check that athletes are linked to their families so they can respond in their app.
Step by step
1. Create the event from Calendar
Select Add and choose the event type available for the club’s sport. Enter the title, date, times, location and useful notes. The event uses the season selected in the calendar; choose the teams that will take part.
2. Select athletes and sport details
Add invitees from the eligible athletes on those teams. Complete any sport-specific fields that appear, such as discipline, apparatus, number or other required information.
3. Request and review confirmations
Enable confirmation if the family needs to respond. In the Invitees tab, you can see who has confirmed, who cannot attend and who is still pending. You can also record a response received through another channel.
4. Remind people who have not responded
Send a reminder only for pending responses and before the event date. If details change, edit the event or invitation and notify people of relevant information. Changing the date or time may reset confirmations to Pending.
5. Record and share results
After the activity, open Result, enter the relevant data and review it before sharing. Only publish information that the intended audience is allowed to see.
If something goes wrong
- An athlete does not appear: check that they belong to one of the selected teams and are active.
- The family cannot respond: check that the event requests confirmation, is still scheduled and has not already taken place.
- A family replies to the event email: their message goes to the club’s Contact email, under Settings → General. That reply does not confirm attendance: record it yourself under Invitees, or ask the family to respond in their app.
- The invitation has changed: edit or remove the affected person and decide whether they should receive a notification.
- Results are not available: confirm that the club’s sport profile supports those fields and that the event is configured correctly.
