Quick answer
Under Fees and in each athlete's payment history, you can pay available charges or continue a payment that needs completing. You can pay an upcoming fee early from 7 days before it is due, including one collected in cash, without waiting for a failure.
The families’ app shows charges the club has linked to your athletes. Each transaction keeps its description, amount, due date, status and, when available, access to the relevant receipt or invoice. You do not have to wait for the club to submit the charge or for it to fail: if a fee has not yet been collected, you can pay it yourself from a few days beforehand.
Before you start
Select the correct club and check which athlete the charge belongs to. Have a valid payment method ready and avoid using untrusted networks or devices.
Step by step
1. Open Fees
Open Fees from the bottom navigation. Check the tabs or groups to distinguish pending, paid and other statuses. The next payment card on Home takes you to the same payment when it can be paid early: the button says Pay now instead of “View details”.
You can also open an athlete’s profile from Home and view Fees → Payment history. Each transaction keeps its description and amount and shows Pay now when it is available for payment. This action opens the same payment screen as Fees, with the same terms; future charges that are not yet available do not show the button.
2. Check which charges you can pay early
You do not need to wait for a charge to fail. You can pay an uncollected fee yourself when it is due or within 7 days of its due date, regardless of whether the club collects it by card, direct debit or cash — never before the month it relates to begins. The subtitle distinguishes the two situations:
- Scheduled · {fecha} — the club will collect it automatically on that date; you can also pay it early yourself if it is already within 7 days.
- Payment due · {fecha} — this is a cash fee and nobody will collect it for you; it is settled only when you pay here or the club records it manually.
If a scheduled fee does not show the payment action, its particular collection method — for example, a bank collection file already submitted — does not allow early payment at this time; the club continues to manage it through its usual process.
3. Check the details
Select the transaction and confirm the athlete, description, amount, date and status. If anything differs from what was agreed, contact the club before paying.
4. Check your share of a split fee
If the club has split a fee between two payers, you will see only your percentage as a separate charge with your method. The other share does not appear in your account, and a failure on the other payer’s part is not automatically transferred to yours.
5. Start the payment
Select Pay now. Clybo’ will prepare the transaction and may open the provider’s secure screen. Follow the instructions without closing or going back during confirmation. When paying an upcoming fee early, the payment screen does not refer to a bank decline; it simply confirms the amount and date you are paying in advance.
Payment goes directly to the club you selected. You can keep using a saved card; if you choose to save a new card when paying, it will be available for future payments to that club.
Opening Pay now, changing the card or the option to save it, and reopening payment reuses the same transaction. If you still need to enter card details, confirm payment or complete bank verification, Payment needs completing appears. Select Continue payment under Fees or in the athlete’s Payment history to resume the same transaction. Automatic retries wait while this transaction is open.
If you close the app partway through payment: nothing irreversible happens. Until you confirm, the fee is marked as needing completion and you can resume it with Continue payment. If you leave it, Clybo’ automatically releases the attempt after a short time: the fee returns to its original collection method and date, as if you had not started payment, and remains available within the same 7-day window for you to try again. A bank-declined attempt does not turn the fee into a default either: it appears as before, because the club never submitted a charge.
6. Wait for the result
Payment in progress means the provider is processing it. Verifying payment means Clybo’ needs to check or record the result; refresh the view and wait before taking another action. In these states, the option to continue a payment as if it were unconfirmed is not offered.
When you return, wait for the status to update. A bank transaction may take a few moments; do not repeat it just because the first screen still shows processing.
7. View the document
When the club has generated a receipt or invoice, open it from the fee or history. Download it only on a secure device because it may contain personal information.
If something goes wrong
- The payment is declined: check the card or change the method before trying again. If you were paying an upcoming fee early, a decline does not turn it into a default; it appears available again so you can try within the 7-day window.
- It is still pending after payment: refresh the view and contact the club with the description, never the full card details. If there was a connection error, the result of the previous transaction is checked first; another charge is not submitted until it is resolved.
- You do not recognise the charge: start a conversation before paying.
- The document does not appear: it may not have been generated yet; ask the club about that transaction.
- The family total seems incomplete: with a split, you can view only your share; ask the club to confirm the setup without requesting details about the other payer.
- An overdue fee does not show a payment option: its collection method may not support early payment (for example, a bank collection file has already been submitted) or the club may have online payments disabled; contact the club to resolve it through its usual process.
